ABOUT PHI DELTA PHI

Since PDP's beginning on our campus in 2020, we have been recruiting individuals with common goals and mindsets.

PDP is dedicated to fostering intellectual and professional growth. We offer valuable resources, mentorship, and a supportive environment for students considering law school. We create space for meaningful connections through networking, shared experiences, and mutual support.

If you're passionate about the law and looking for a community to grow with, we invite you to explore what Phi Delta Phi has to offer.

Frequently Asked Questions:

When does the club meet?

Is there a dress code for meetings?

Event times vary.

General Meetings are currently being held bi-monthly on Tuesdays starting at 6:30 pm.

Yes! We are not an exclusive organization, however, take into consideration the time commitment required for the organizations.

Is there an interview?

Yes, for selected applicants there will be an interview.

The executive board first reviews all applications. After reviews, deliberations occur, and individuals who make it through the process will be formally offered an interview.

Is there a GPA requirement?

No, there are no set GPA requirements, as each chapter determines its own standards. While GPA is considered during the application process, it is only one of many factors we review, making our approach holistic.

I have a low GPA, can I still get in?

Yes, as stated before, other things are considered (i.e., Resume, Interview), which can offset any poor GPA.

What is the weekly time commitment?

This entirely depends on scheduling. We require all members to meet certain point requirements every semester. The General Meetings are, however, mandatory for all members. We encourage members to attend as many events as they can, and we encourage members to stay involved even after they have met their point requirements.

Can I be in multiple pre-law organizations?

There is currently no formal dress code for most events. However, for guest speaker sessions or select occasions, business attire, or the closest to it within your ability, may be requested. Please note that dress expectations are subject to change.

Do I have to be on the Pre-Law track or planning to attend law school to join PDP?

I’m an upperclassman, should I still join?

Yes! PDP attempts to make events worth it for upperclassman as well. PDP hosts guest speakers, LSAT prep for those who haven't taken it, networking events, internship opportunities, and more. There are plenty of benefits to reap as an upperclassman in PDP so we encourage you to join!
